Staff
Bob Wright founded our company over 40 years ago with a simple philosophy: Hire great people,
treat them well, do great work and the rest will take care of itself. It was his dedication to finding the
best people that forms the basis of our staff today.

Creative Director. A sort of interpreter. I guide the translation
of business objectives into creative communications that speak to the right people in a way
that encourages action.
Anytime. Often when least expected. Many effective
ideas arise when I’m not focused on that specific problem
Anywhere. Inside, outside,
office, home, car, woods, field…you get the idea
Solving people’s problems is a
worthwhile use of my ability and experience
There are many steps, but the key for me
is to learn as much as I can about our client and the objective:
Ask good questions, then
listen, listen, listen. Repeat

Whatever it takes. For 28 years, I’ve worn a number of
hats. Mechanical artist. Illustrator. Graphic designer. Teacher. Web designer. Writer. Lightbulb changer
When the eyes are open and the brain is engaged
It usually comes together sitting in front of a computer or drawing board. But great thinking
also happens across the conference table, on the trail, or under the shower head
For me it has always been about discovering the essence of something through exploration and then visually communicating it in a way that is meaningful and beautiful
Listening. Talking. Questioning. Reading. Doing and redoing. Experience, persistence, hard work, very talented colleagues and a supportive wife don’t hurt

ASAP!
Slouched in front of an
ever-growing bank of computer monitors
Ever since the first box of crayons I’ve been obsessed with expressing
myself visually.
My background is rooted in the traditional fine arts. When I finally started working with a
graphics tablet, a whole new medium opened up

Office Manager, A.K.A. “Queen Hyphene” when proofreading
I’ll be
working till I die plus two years, unless I win the lottery
BWC for the last nine years; formerly worked as
an Executive Secretary and as a Customer Service Rep at Kodak
Studied to be an elementary school teacher and
took shorthand as an elective. Got straight A’s and figured it was a sign to switch career paths. Never regretted
it since
With a sense of humor and an occasional cheese stick to snack on

Web developer, Drupal designer, PHP programmer, SQL practitioner, Javascriptor, HTML emitter,
Flashmonkey, occasional command-line jockey and dabbler in the Adobes
When the power's on
In front of any variety of large, chunky keyboards
Because too many people believe there's a division between
art and science
By listening to people and swearing at code

Management of marketing communications programs, both for Bob Wright Creative and its clients.
Currently working on-site at The Maplewood Nursing &
Rehabilitation as the organization's communications manager
Whenever OmniFocus tells me
Wherever it best suits the need. At BWC or on-site with
the client
To help make someone else's
life a little bit easier. To help organizations and individuals move a little closer to reaching their full potential
Immersion. Seeing the world through someone else's eyes. Understanding motivations. Getting at the "why"

Elizabeth Treichler
Graphic Designer
When there is work to be done.
Education: Alfred University,
BFA with a concentration in graphic design and a minor in Spanish. On a daily basis: at my desk, waiting for the printer
or walking outdoors in rain, snow, wind or sun.
I chose graphic design because I like using both the right and
left sides of my brain, and I couldn’t think of anything else that I would like to do for eight hours a day.
Put in the time and avoid the purely decorative.

Round the clock. What can I say? I love the challenge of the creative process.
Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art/Graphic Design
from Roberts Wesleyan College.
Does “light red” have to be pink?
“When I am working on a problem, I never
think about beauty. I only think about how to solve the problem.
But when I have finished, if the solution isn’t beautiful,
I know it is wrong.”
